The listed films according to me are the best One Person Action Films.


    1. Atomic Blonde (2017)

With an IMDb rating of 6.7 Atomic Blonde is a 2017 American action thriller film based on the 2012 graphic novel The Coldest directed by David Leitch, in his first solo directorial credit, and it is written by Kurt Johnstad. 

The film revolves around a spy who has to find a list of double agents that is being smuggled into the West on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall

The film's cast includes Charlize Theron, James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella, Roland Møller, and Toby Jones.


    2. Extraction (2020)

With an IMDb rating of 6.7 Extraction is a 2020 American action-thriller film released on Netflix.

It is directed by Sam Hargrave (in his feature directorial debut) and written by Joe Russo.
The Movie Shows a black ops mercenary who must rescue an Indian drug lord's kidnapped son in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, Golshifteh Farahani, Pankaj Tripathi, and David Harbour.


    3. White House Down (2013)

With an IMDb rating of 6.3 White House Down is a 2013 American Action Film directed by Roland Emmerich and written by James Vanderbilt.

The Film shows a US Capitol Police Officer who attempts to rescue his Daughter Emily and POTUS when a massively destructive terrorist assault occurs in the White House.

The film stars Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Joey King, Jason Clarke and James Wood.


    4. Wrath of Man (2021)

With an IMDb rating of 7.2 Wrath of Man is a 2021 Action Thriller Film directed by Guy Ritchie starring Jason Statham.

The Movie is Divided into 4 parts each circling back to one main event.

I personally think this is one of the best movies to be released this year. I was glued to the screen watching this amazing film.


    5. Nobody (2021)

With an IMDb rating of 7.4 Nobody is a 2021 American Action Thriller film directed by Ilya Naishuller.

The movie shows a bored man who, after a house robbery returns to a dangerous life which leads him to become the target of a drug lord.

The film stars Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, RZA, and Christopher Lloyd.

I was amazed to see Bob Odenkirk do those amazing fight scenes at 58.


    6. The Accountant (2016)

With an IMDb rating of 7.3, The Accountant is a 2016 Action Thriller film directed by Gavin O’Connor.

The Movie shows Christian Wolff an autistic CPA who makes his living by uncooking the books of criminal and terrorist organizations around the world that are experiencing internal embezzlement.

The film stars Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Anna Kendrik, J. K. Simmons and John Lithgow.


    7. Salt (2010)

With an IMDb rating of 6.4 Salt is a 2010 American Action Thriller Film directed by Phillip Noyce. 

The movie shows Evelyn Salt who is accused of being a Russian Sleeper agent and goes on the run to try to clear her name.

The movie show Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.


    8. Colombiana (2011)

With an IMDb rating of 6.4 Colombiana is a 2011 French English Action Thriller film directed by Olivier Megaton.

The Film shows a 9-year-old Cataleya in Colombia whose family is killed by a drug lord. Fifteen Years later a Grown Cataleya seeks her revenge.

The film stars Zoe Saldana, Cliff Curtis, Callum Blue, and Jordi Molla.


    9. Wanted (2008)

With an IMDb rating of 6.7 Wanted is a 2008 American action thriller film directed by Timur Bekmambetov.

The Movie shows Wesley Gibson, a frustrated account manager who discovers that he is the son of a professional assassin and decides to join the Fraternity, a secret society in which his father worked.

The film stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Terence Stamp, Thomas Kretschmann, Common, and Angelina Jolie.


    10. Scarface (1983)

With an IMDb rating of 8.3, Scarface is a 1983 American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma. 

The movie shows the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana who arrives penniless in Miami and goes on to become a powerful drug lord. As his power begins to grow so does his ego and his enemies and his own paranoia begin to plague his empire.

The Movie stars Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Robert Loggia.


I’ll admit Al Pacino is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE. So if you see at least one Al Pacino movie in each of my lists then that’s the reason.
